Biographical note
Mathilde Le Bouëdec holds a master’s degree in philosophy at the University of Tours, a master 2 in studies policies at the University of Rennes and a DESS in territory planning at the University of Montreal. She has represented clients with disabilities within the grouping of users of paratransit (RUTA) of Montreal from 2005 to 2008 and then joined STM in early 2009 where she works since in the planning and implementation of universal access of bus and metro networks.

Presentation: The STM universal access : overview and outlook
The 2016-2020 plan for universal access was designed around a promise to have universal access by 2025, specifying mobility excellence for persons with functionnal limitations. Thus, the corporate commitments are : consolidate the implementation of universal access throughout the STM, accesselerate accessibility in metro stations and expand the areas of intervention for universal access in order to welcome costumers with functionnal limitations on bus and metro networks.
